LoMac Winery last visited 8/10/09 ??
Eric Engelman (owner) shares with you older vintages that have smoothed to the point where every sip is a treat. His tasting room just opened, so be sure and stop in!
Nonini Winery last visited 8/10/09 FREE
If you’re looking for history — this is definitely a winery you’ll want to visit! If you ask nicely, and if they’re not busy, you may be able to view their gorgeous redwood barrels that have been there almost a century.
Milla Vineyards last visited 8/10/09 FREE
Milla Vineyards does their wines just a little different. They don’t believe in putting their grapes through the traditional steps in wine making, but rather letting the grapes do what they need to do naturally. The result? Fruit forward wines that are bound to fulfill your daily nutritional requirements – at least I think that they should count towards the requirements!
Ficklin Vineyards last visited 8/10/09 ??
Ficklin is known for their ports. My personal favorites, however, would be their Passport line. Be sure and ask for a “truffle” when you’re there!
Chateau Lasgoity last visited 8/10/09 $5.00/person (applied towards wine purchases)
Talk about a great price point! For the price, these wines sure offer up a lot!
Quady Winery last visited 8/10/09 FREE
Quady Winery has some of the most unique wines you’ll ever taste. My favorite is probaly their Orange Muscat, but wow, they’ve got wines that range from dry to sweet, herbal to fruity, and appertif to desert. You’ve got to try them to truly appreciate the variety!
